About Me

Noah Mathew at a UC Irvine engineering event

I am completing my Master’s degree in Embedded and Cyber Physical Systems at UC Irvine, expanding my knowledge through coursework in sensor and actuator networks and embedded system modeling. I am also learning SystemC to model and simulate embedded systems.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from UC Irvine’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. My coursework gave me a strong foundation in both disciplines: Electrical Engineering through VLSI, MEMS, and Signals and Systems, and Computer Science through Data and Knowledge Science and Engineering (AI), System Software, and Data Structures and Algorithms. This background strengthened my skills in digital hardware design, low-level and system software, embedded computing, and algorithmic problem-solving.

I have 17+ months of industry work experience in embedded systems and avionics, spanning internships and work as a contractor.

Currently an Avionics Engineer, Contractor at Virgin Galactic.

Recently completed an internship at Virgin Galactic as an Avionics Software Engineer, where I performed software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing for the Delta spaceship.

Completed three internships as an Embedded Software Engineer at UST, working on projects for clients in the airline, telecommunications, and pharmaceutical industries.
